I tried the trick I read on the forum regarding black silicone in the Baron cap to keep the cap from unscrewing.

It did not go over well...during the show, it got to about 30 degrees, and the silicone just fell off of the pen...

I wonder if it was the wrong silicone, or if this is something to be expected...was not the result I was looking for...

Good timing with this question because I was going to try to do something like this too because I found those barons and jrs unscrew too easily.

I tried the same thing. I had the same result.

I understood that there was a recess in the cap. My Jr Gent II caps have a flat surface around the outside but not a recess to hold the silicone.
