I've made several european twist pens for people at work and it seems that the top cap keeps coming lose. Lose to the point that the clip starts to spin on the pen. I bought the kits at Woodcraft. Is there something I can do to ensure that the top cap stays tight? I had one pen that I had to buff because it had scuffed the finish. Thanks for your help.

Some use a drop of CA but if I were to have the inclination I would use thread lock.
This was discussed a while ago.

Just use the blue incase you ever need to disassemble it.

Also, if you use CA dripped into the cap, dont shoot ACC in it. DAMHIKT [V]
