Is there any way to fix the chatter/ rattling noise on a European ballpoint pen (Woodcraft)? This noise is from the ink cartridge and occurs while writing. I have tried a different cartridge brand with no improvement. Any suggestions?

Does the refill seem to fit (as implied above)??

Is the spring tense enough?

WHERE is it rattling?? Noises happen when one surface hits another, what is hitting which???

Is the problem to large of a hole in the nib where the refil comes through?

Yes, the hole is too large so it rattles in the nib. This is a cross style cartridges so there is no spring. I just figured out a quick fix by putting a small amount of silicone inside the nib. It works beautifully now, although I don't know for how long. Thank you for your replies.

I believe Woodcraft sells replacement "nose cones" (nibs) for those. You may want to buy a pack and replace the one you have.
