hello all ya'll
i have a friend of mine wanting a fountain pen made from eucalyptus wood. i had seen some on ebay but can't find the entry anymore. does anyone here know of where i might find some?

Try "woodfinder.com" I bought some a few years ago, it makes a fantastic looking pen I believe I bought it
at a AAW show from someone in New York "West Penn" I believe was the name.

Another thing to note is that many of the Australian burls are in the Eucalyptus family, so, for example, you could also look for brown mallee, red mallee, grey box burl, coolibah, etc.

i had no idea that eucalyptus covered such a wide variety of woods. not only is this fun.........but educational too!
