I ordered one of the Environ blanks from CSUSA to try and it got here yesterday. Has anyone turned any of these blanks? I did a photo search for "environ" and nothing came up. just curious.

Ken, that material is kinda fun. Carefull on your finish. This stuff really looks different depending on how you finish it. Try a test finish on your scrap cut off. I have done all the colors, black, red, blue. You can just mm to 1200 and it has a nice matt look to it. I have also put some mylands friction on them and it really darkens them. I think you'll like em.

I just bought 3 sheets from the company. I needed one color for a project, and will be selling blanks from the other two real soon. I like everything about it except for the smell.

Thanks for the responses guys. The description said it should turn and finish like wood, so I'll see. I got the "Vermillion" color, and I'm going to match it up with a silver plated Euro. Should be an interesting look.
