Engraving for a pen suggestions

I am using one of the Jeff Powell marine blanks for my nephew who will be graduating soon. I am curious about people's suggestions on the font to use on the blank. Jeff & I talked about using white fill which makes sense to me. It will be on a Electra rb kit. I was thinking a block style for military, but thought I would ask everyone for suggestions. Thanks a bunch for any help.

I just looked up some Marine corps logos and saw some of the logos for the Marines. It looks like some kind of italic font. If I were you I would try to match the font on the Marine logo for the pen. JMHO.
