i was wondering if anyone uses pyrography instead of laser to engrave your logo or something on the barrel?

Limited to wood. But is an interesting concept.

I don't even come close to having a steady enough hand to put on a logo. A high qualilty pyro outfit will cost near $200 and the tips will take a modification to get the detail for a font. Most of my pyro work seems to look like summer camp work so far, if I try to do some art, but geometric work is coming along okay. Laser engraving at the local shop can cost less than $10, some places, $5.
