A friend of mine, Harry, brought me some ivory that he extracted from piano key boards. I have practiced on two pens and now am going to try and do a Celtic Knot. Heh, heh, wait until you see this one. It will be a beauty.

Ebony & Ivory is a STUNNING combination... FYI, have had great success with this combination + sterling silver hardware.
MOST of my pens use genuine Ivory, and this is a huge selling point for me. I am able to charge a minimum of $250.00 for a simple design with a few Ivory accents (CB, finial, and a couple of stripes or bands on the blank itself).
My more expensive line of pens also include an ivory "grip" or coupler that connect the nib to the body of the pen. Polished / burnished Ivory feels AMAZING in your hand, and everyone that picks one up can't put it down! Just beware of selling overseas...
