I have the heavy duty one from Woodcraft that looks just like that. It is a pia to adjust for different size blanks. Not sure about that one, I am a you get what you pay for person.

I have one that looks identical and it works fantastic, it is permanently bolted to my DP.
It was a PIA to adjust until I cut the nut in half and put a large washer in between to use as a finger wheel (similar to a knurled wheel).

I agree also, the one from Woodcraft is a pia to adjust for different size blanks. I modified an old drill press vise now to press kits with. The one from Woodcraft is now collecting dust (saw). Don't mean to bad mouth Woodcraft as I buy a lot of items from them, just did not like the their press.

I just use a drill press vise, and cut two pieces of 1x1 1/2 x 5. Put a dado blade in my table saw, cut two dados with the blade at 45 degrees. They hold the blanks perfectly!
