I was thinking of turning some pens with a flag theme to donate to the local VA Hospital. Any suggestions for the pen kit to use?

It depends on what style of pen you are thinking of and how much you want to spend.

Single Barrell pen kits you can spend as much as you want. Just about any single barrel kit will work.

There are flag theme inlay blanks available from a couple of sources PSI has stars and stripes blanks available that can be adapted to any kit on sale for about $6.00/blank right now.

An inexpensive route is to simply get some of the American flag clips for slimline pens. For a total outlay of about $5-$7 per pen, you can get a lot of bang for the buck that way & they make nice looking pen IMHO.

If you want something a little nicer, you can get a variety of patriotic themed blanks from our IAP vendors & put them on a Sierra style pen.
