Default Does accelerator go bad

CA glue has a limited shelf life. Some of us learned that the hard way. But do the aerosol accelerator sprays also go bad after a while?

I don’t know the answer, but I have had 2+ year old spray cans that worked fine.

yes. Alot depends on storage and conditions. Just like spray paints can go bad.

From Satellite City CA glue company and I am sure you can look up the stuff you are using too. Google is your friend. This is what I use and the answer to this question on their web site

What is the shelf life of your accelerators?

Our aerosol accelerators have a shelf life of five years. Our NCF Hot spray-pump accelerators have a shelf life of two years so long as they are kept tightly sealed with their original caps when not in use. The spray pump is not as effective in sealing the bottle as the original cap. If the bottles are not kept tightly sealed, the accelerator will turn yellow and then orange over time and will cease to have any effect on uncured cyanoacrylate.
