Insert pen in vise (aka left hand). Insert appropriate size punch in pen. Transfer kinetic energy to the pen through the punch by means of Estwing. [:p]

And yes, they can break the CA glue seal. I've even had some that drove the tubes (glued with CA) out of the barrels. That was one of the reasons that I switched to PU glue.

Like Stan said, only I use a piece of rubber shelf liner or non-slip sanding pad in my hand to get a better grip on the pen barrel without marring the surface.

Agreed.

I don't know which hurts me worse...when Mr. Estwing bites or when I get mad and try to bite back [B)].
