Disassembling a Sierra

I have two now Sierras that I need to disassemble the top clip from the barrel.

Is there any proper way that will not destroying the barrel of the pen.

It's called a transfer punch set http://www.harborfreight.com/28-piece-transfer-punch-set-3577.html . Choose the right sized punch and hold the barrel in one hand while you hit the punch with the other .

Use a small hammer , not your hand to hit the punch
