I have a Parker Pen, (PSI Classic Twist Pen) almost completely assembled. Everything but the centerband. I realized I made a couple of stupid mistakes. It's been a while since I've done any pen work & I guess I forgot several things. :beat-up:

Anyway, is it possible to disassemble one of these? I need to remove the cap & clip, I think I can figure out how to manage leaving the transmission in place, & I might have to remove the parts from the bottom half of the pen, too. I know the transmission is different than a slimline. It looks like it would take a very small punch to reach through & knock out the cap. Has anyone done this before?

Thanks.

Invest in a Harbor Freight center punch kit. This is little rack of metal punches that seems to always include the diameter your need for such tasks. They are cheap and they also regularly have coupons available to reduce the price further. I like these pens a lot, but then can be a bit touchy and I've had to dissemble several for various reasons.
