I like this ballpoint, but the clip is moving under the cap, lots. So, I thought I'd try and take it apart and apply some loctite. But the way this is pen is designed, it seems that I stand a real good chance of making a mess of this since the transmission is located in the upper barrel and I don't see how I can remove it to get to the cap. Any help would be appreciated.

Here is a link to the instructions showing the parts.

Thanks,

The transmission threads onto the coupler and is not in the upper barrel when you pull the pen cap (top) off.

You have transfer punches I presume??

Right Ken, that makes sense now. The deal is that when I unscrewed the pen the transmission stayed in the upper barrel. I'll try working it again tonight and see if I can get out.

Yes I've got the the punches.

Thanks for the help.

Man, do I feel dumb. The two barrels are pulled apart, not screwed together. The pen has been fixed.

Good thing I don't do this for a living, I'd go broke.

Thanks again,
Kev
