OK. Being pretty new to this pen turning thing...here is the dopey question of the day!

I've turned a few pens now. All on slimline mechanisms. I've even managed to bungle my way through making a few of the "bullet" pens. So far, so good. I have been attempting to make some pens out of aluminum arrow shafts. No REAL problems.

However, the outside diameter of the aluminum arrow shafts is slightly larger than the outside diameter of the nib and/or finial supplied with the slimline kits. Is there a type of kit that would be better suited? Or is there a nib/finial that will fit into the slimline tube but have a slightly larger outside diameter so as to better match the outside diameter of the arrow shaft? Thanks.
