Desk Set - which one??

So far I have only turned the slimlines and a few (5) Euros. I need to make a desk set as a gift for someone and I am not sure where or how to start. Is one kit better than another? What type holder works best? What supplies do I need? Where do I find instructions? So many questions and so little time - I must finish it by May 08'. So, I'm coming to you for HELP!!!

You can also add a clock or business card holder or anything else you can think of!
