Hi, I got a request for princess pen with a deep purple or burgundy blank. Tried a few on line vendors and it seems most purples and reds are brighter than what she is looking for. Not sure even "Acrlyester Deep Purple" is the right level of dark. Any suggestions? Thank you!

We've done custom colored blanks....

That said, I can't tell what is the wrong color from a few hundred miles away. Too dark, too light, too shiny...all are things that are subject to a different eye. We can get close, but we can't guarantee it's the color your customer wants.

Might want to look into the trustones. Purple mother of pearl and several others. Hope this helps.

I have a couple of suggestions, for your consideration.

1. Woodcraft #148317 Magenta Bliss

2. Woodcraft #148186 Burgundy

I hope this helps.

Check out some of the Mutt Blanks Ernie carries (Bear Tooth Woods). I made my Mom-In-Law a Perfect Fit with a Wizard's Mist mono-swirl blank. A very deep purple color with some glitter to it.

Purple

I cast this the other day - will reverse paint with purple.
The last one like this was well received by the customer.

This is more of a plum - cast with opaque colors. It was a custom blend.
