Decal thoughts needed

On only my second decal pen, dunno why, just is. Both are the same style, Vertex clicker, poured with PR and black powder coat powder...very solid satin black. In both cases, I ended up using white paper. Decals printed on clear were not visible at all.

Ended up printing on white...undercutting/beveling the edge and using a black archival marker around the edges. Color look good, but I'd still like to use clear paper. Not an option with black blanks? Thanks for the thoughts!

Make a test tube and then print a multi color option and see what works.

Check with any local printing shops or hobby shops that have the ability to make water slide decals. Some of the printers used for that can print white under colored ink to enhance them. I've used several of these decals over darker colors, but it was a few years ago and I found the printer guy on a website that makes custom diecast replica squad cars.
