Decal question

I am at my wits end. I can't find what I am looking for so am going to have to go with a decal.

If I cast some carbon fiber/fiber glass will a water slide decal work on it.

I have never done a water slide decal and from what I have seen in the show off your pens they are on smooth surfaces.

You would have to finish the carbon fiber, put on the waterslide, and then CA over that. Long story ****, you have to finish it twice. Hope this helps.
