I want to thank those who responded to the thread on turning square stock to round. Those who mentioned using a dead center in the headstock have really given some great advice. I tried that today and really like it. It does require a lighter touch and sharp tools. I am sure it will enhance my skills! Again, thanks for taking the time to respond and giving great tips to many of us.
