i was just asked if i can make a "dave mathews pen", i said maybe, but i have no idea where to start

any ideas?

I think Chris is on to something. I would start with his #1 hits and album names and see if you could come up with something that way.

Or take a look at his old crusty guitar and try to somehow copy it in a pen maybe? That might be kinda cool.

Just a thought. I made a pen for someone in the movie business. I didn't know what to do. I can't cast blanks, carve, scrollsaw or anything like that. I had made a pen for a stamp collector following the instructions on, i think, CSUSA or PSI web site.

Well for the movie guy I got a list of all the movies he worked on, went to a website that sells movie posters, copied the small thumbnails of all the posters to my computer, printed them up, cut them out and decoupaged them to a pen and covered it in CA. He loved it.

Maybe you can do the same with some of his most popular album covers. Just a thought.

hmmm, maybe all his albums and a black VIP across it! Yes I think I'll do some sort of callage (sp?) and cast it in a resinsaver...
