I am looking for a wood that would have a dark red color. I was curious what people would recommend that would fit that bill. Thank you!

Are you looking for 2" thick, or 2" square blocks, or just what? I have a bit of Bloodwood I cut long ago for pen blanks and I would guess they are 0.5" square by 5.5" or there-abouts. How much do you need?

I prefer Mexican Redheart available at Cooks Woods and Spa City Woodworks. It works great and is a true dark red. Top is Redheart and Maple. This is the top to a jewelry box I made my Granddaughter.
