What do you use to cut Corian to blank size? I have a few pieces that I want to trim down to pen blank size, but am not sure what to use to cut and drill it.

I plan on using the skew to turn it.

You can use standard woodworking tools. Carbide helps but, not necessary. Tablesaw/bandsaw and drill bits will get you to size.

Oh. That makes a difference.

For some reason I thought it was like tru-stone.

Off to the saw.

You'll likely notice some effect on the saw blade, depending on the type.
While it isn't like TruStone in consistency, it can be tough on blades. It
isn't just acrylic, it has a fairly high mineral content.

I recently received a large assortment of corian through a donation to the Pens for Hope. I turned 3 slims out if it yesterday. It was the first time I had turned it. Was rather surprised at the ease of turning and finishing. Had to keep the tools sharp, but it turned very nice.
