Here's the stupid question of the day :rolleyes: :
I have some CSUSA slimlines. The refill tip has a protective cover on it. It almost looks like it is dipped or painted on (not the little rubber nib that just pulls off). So how do you remove it? I don't want to get aggressive with it and screw up the refill.

You can typically remove them with your fingernail or use a box cutter if that is more comfortable for you. That is how I usually remove them.

Thanks. I know, dumb question. I just wanted to get a heads up before I screwed it up by taking a hammer to it or something!! I have a tendency to do those sorts of things.
