I need to make a click pen using a 7mm cross style refill.

Is there such a thing?

On disposable pens, the ink tube is made of plastic which is perforated to hold the spring. I'm stuck and can't think of a way to do this with the better quality Cross style refill.

I've thought about scavenging the parts from a G2 pen to do that and haven't gotten around to it. Too many irons on the fire.

I would suggest using the G2 refill too. Then everything works together.

Give it a try and see what happens!

Thanks for the reply. Today, I visited a local office supply that has the best selection of pens and refills in my area. I bought some G2s and some refills made by Zebra, and several others. Most are only slightly smaller in diameter than the Parker style refills. Even slightly smaller is better for what I need, but they have a step which doesn't allow them to work with the nib I want to use. I may have to go with the fatter Parker style unless I can convince myself to use one of the cheapo disposable ones.
