crack in blank question

hi guys i have a slight problem . i was working on a roller ball pen today and it busted on me just a slight crack along the long end of the blank i have seen where people widen the crack and fill it with mico powders. my question is do i use ca glue or expoxy to glue the filler in with. hope this makes sense.

I've always used med CA.

Probably up to you. Some will use the med, but then again one of the tutorial videos uses thin.

I use medium CA and mix it in little batches and use a toothpick to layer it in the crack. Allow it to cure before you clean it up.

Sometimes, filling the crack with shavings of the wood with thin CA can make a repair all but invisible.
