Corncob Statesman

Has anyone successfully turned a full sized Statesman from a corncob? I've made plenty of Cigars and Jr's but I've got a good customer asking about a Statesman and I can't recall if I've ever seen one made so large.

i also have done cigars but not a statesman. however in my opinion when it comes to corn cobs "bigger is better" and don't believe you would incurr any problems and even if you did not like the end result you could simply turn the cob off the tubes to make a different pen so you would only be out your time. just my $.02
