Here is my first Corn Cob Pen.
The corn cob I got from Thumbs.
This was a lot of fun making this.
And there is another in the works.
I ended up using Rit liquid dye on it. It was all I could find locally. But I think it covered it pretty well.
Enjoy.

Very nice looking pen. I like the dye job you did. I've never seen a 7mm Slimline pen used for a Corn Cob pen before. I've made them using Cigar Pen kits. I'll have to give a Slimline a try.

Nice Work!

Paul...
this pen was a stabilized one. I have another one that i'm working on that isn't. When I drilled it, it tore quite a bit of the pith out of it. So im trying to fill around the tube with CA glue
Did you run some thin CA glue inside the hole after drilling.
That helps to harden the pith area when the glue soaks in.
I assume you sanded the tubes first...
Don't give up...you'll make it.
