What speed does everybody turn Corian at? I am getting ready to try my first Corian blank and am unsure what speed I should use.

I turn everything at the highest speed my little Jet mini will go.

I also re-sharpen my tool several times while turning corian.

Corian is easy and fun and polishes up great with no special finishes just go through the numbers wet sanding then use a plastic polish like Novus 2.

Like many other, I turn and sand at highest speed. It is so refreshing to turn something else after so many wood blanks. Just be carefull with drilling - I drill like acryril blanks (cut longer blank and cut it off after it has been drilled).

Thanks for all the suggestions! I tried one at the same speed I turn everything else which is 2900 RPM. Not the fastest on my lathe but definitely not the slowest speed either. It is a lot harder than I thought it would be...
