I just got some 1/2 Corian in and want to make some blanks from it, but 1/2 seems a little to thin for me. What is the best product to use to glue two slabs together to get 1" blank. I am afraid of a nasty seem in the end product.

Thanks

I am a paranoid guy when it comes to glue-ups so I after sanding I clean with denatured alcohol, then use either medium or thick CA, I actually like the Gorilla brand super glue that is out there for this.

I wet lap Corian (r) using a 1/4" glass plate and wet/dry sand paper up to 220, or 320 if I am really ambitious.

I then put a few drops of medium CA on the two pieces and rub them together to get a uniform film of CA on the whole joint. I then just set the piece down on some wax paper to cure. I get a perfect seam every time
