Anyone have any good current leads on the best place to get a cheap quality collet chuck and set of collets? Any holiday season specials?

Thanks.

Shop for your best deal, but don't buy cheap quality, it never pays in the long run.
I second Lenny's suggestion on the PSI brand chuck set. I have it and a Beall
and would buy either again, with the favor going to the PSI.
I like the knurled nut on it.

I have the Beall and the PSI collet chucks, also. My preference is the Beall, but both work well. Both use the er32 collets which are an industry standard size and extra collets can be bought from many places.

I would avoid chucks like the Woodcraft collet system. The quality is fine, BUT they are mounted on a morse taper, which limits their usefulness. Additionally, they only use the few collets that come with the set.

Until it was mentioned here I didn't realize that WoodnWhimsie's carried them so I'll probably do that, just wanted to make sure no one had seen any obscure tucked away sales anywhere.

Thanks
