Coasty Bullet Pen - What on top??

Got a request from our deputy commander to make a Coast Guard bullet pen for her son...

So I am good with Marine Pens - but Coasty pens? I am going to use one of Larry's bullet pens for the bottom...but need some help for the top. Wood? Acrylic? Blue?

No clue!

how about a custom casted upper barrel? You could create your own design with either water slide decals or a label cast in resin.

Or do a decal on top of a well done segmented acrylic.

Try this link and you should be able to make your own decal. If this doesn't work I may have some left over from a project I made years ago. I retired from the Coast Guard after 22 years 21 years in aviation and will be casting some myself once I get my system set up. Good luck!
