Hello all.
I have been doing some trials with acrylic materials. I cast a couple of test molds with the resin and molds sold by The Pen Wizard. I followed their instructions to the letter. However, when I try to turn the castings, they become white and loose transparency. My guess is that my turning tools are not really sharp enough. Could this be the cause? Can dull tools cause this? Or it may be something related with the formula/proportions I used?
Any comment will be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance for your time.

Are you polishing them after you turn them? If they are still cloudy, then you have an issue.

If you are not polishing them, the cloudiness is probably the small scratches you are creating while turning.
