This was my first go at a closed end pen. I didn't think it belonged in the SOYP forum. I started this several months ago, but wasn't happy with my attempts at making a pin chuck so I set it aside. Thanks, James!!! Yours worked great, though I did have to make a new pin using a nail. The one I got with the chuck only wanted to hold in the opposite direction that I needed. I figure it was something to do with the tube since I had already partially completed this. Anyway, here it is... nothing special, home stabilized spalted Maple on a Standard FP kit. Didn't want to risk screwing up a Baron of Jr. Gent back then. :D

It came out pretty well! I'm not a fan of the post on the end of the barrel, but that's a minor quabble. Great piece of wood!
