Just wondering if it was possible to make a closed end Baron with end turned down to post the cap with the threads turned from wood.

The problem seems to me to be that wooden threads turned that fine would likely not last. The one closed end Baron that I did, I made the closed end a little longer than standard. It balances well without a posted cap.
