Lately in my never endless strive for the best look of a pen I have run into difficulty on clip placement. I look at the pen and all the sides just look great to me. So how does everyone else decide on where you place your clip. Do you make the best looking sides of the pen go on both sides of the clip. Opposite side of the clip. I just can't ever seem to decide on where to put it so that the best parts of the pen (to me anyways) show the most.

You're not the only one who struggles with this! I decided to put the best side around the clip since that's where people tend to look first. Don't know if there is a right answer, but if there is we will find it here [:D]

I try to place it so the best grain shows while either facing up or toward the user when it is in their hand. I also take the lower barrel in to consideration if there is one.
