Okay, this one is out there but I swear this is what I do and it works for me.
Take the wood and boil it in a pot of water for about a half hour.
Remove wood from hot water and lay on a bed of paper towels until they seem dry to the touch (10-15 minutes).
Put the blanks in a gallon size ziplock bag and leave one end open about an inch or two.
I bring the blanks down to the Laundry/Furnace room where it is warmer that the rest of the house (epsecially in the winter months).
After a week or 10 days open the bag completely to let what's left of the moisture escape.
Blanks should be ready to turn in 4-6 weeks.
Remember, Clint's wood is shipped mostly wet. my technique works well for me and I have had no trouble with the wood shrinking or expanding after I turn it.
Again, this method works well for me, it may not work as well for you or it may not work at all.
