soap and water in the sink, or put them in a tied-off nylon stocking and send them through the clothes washing machine.

When I strip down to grab a shower after "shop time" I put my MM pads in my socks and let 'em run though the washing machine.

I put 4 in each sock, then tie a knot in each sock to keep the pads inside.

Next morning, pull them out and put them on a towel to dry.

That's interesting. I have been using the same mm pads for a couple years and never once washed them. I do not dry sand with them though, I just wet sand with them, which as far as I know is the true purpose of them. I heard initially that mm pads were developed by the airline industry, to remove scratches in airplane windows. Just what I heard...don't know if it's true.
