cleaning micro mesh

What is the best way to renew the micro mesh papers? I did a search and didn't see whereit had been discussed before.

Wash it with your laundry in the washing machine, recommend to use one of these mesh bags for the ladies stuff..
Mine was washed many times, no problemo.

I've put mine through the wash in my jean pockets. I would recommend removing the MM from the laundry before puttinging it in the dryer. I think too much heat from the dryer may damage the MM.

Mine goes into pockets or socks and then through the washer.

Washer is fine in a mesh bag or something. Not the dryer though.

I agree with Rudy. Washing machine in a mesh bag. I have washed mine at least 4 times and there still do the job.

I hand wash my delicates[] I also store the pieces I am using in a painters pail of water. I use MM wet most of the time.

I just use warm soapy water and a fingernail brush.

I read that soapy water (w/ dishwashing liquid) and toothbrush will work okay too.

Does this mean MM will last "forever" if kept clean?

Not forever, but I have been using my current set for about 4 months. Its probably been 50+ pens along with many other turnings. I finally burned some on a bowl a few weeks ago so that will have to be replaced. overheating is probably the quickest way to ruin MM, and probably the most common demise too.

I just put some MM in a sock and washed it last night. It was the second time I washed it and it looked good as new.
