I've got a little CA glue that squeezed out onto the center band of a pen I made.:embarrassed: What's the best way to clean it off the center band? I may try nail polish remover.

Additional info: the body of the pen is acrylic, so no worry ruining a CA finish. However, I don't want to mar the acrylic.

Thanks!

CA is not the best choice for gluing pen parts. I think you just found out why. You would have a bigger problem if the pen were wood with a CA finish. Consider using two part epoxy which is a much better choice. Even better would be Locktite thread locker glue which can be removed successfully from whatever finish or material the pen has.
Do a good turn daily!

Thanks guys. I think what I'll do is tape off the rest of the pen and use a q-tip to apply the nail polish remover. Don - lesson learned. I'll try the loctite in the future.

Nail polish remover did the trick. Carry on with your regularly scheduled browsing.
