Cigar kit/gel refill problems.

I bought a couple of gel refills from a local office supply store. They are parker black gel refills. Apparently the tips are slightly larger than the standard ballpoint tips because they do not fit throught the tip of the pen nib. Anyone else having that problem? I have some many cigar pens and told people they can get the gel refills. I wonder if I need to call them back and ream out the nib a little? Any other experience with this?

I bought my gel refill from woodcraft and did not have any problems.
IIRC I paid $1.50 for it.

IIRC in the articles on the home page there was a reference to the length of some being different but not with the diameter.
