I have cigar bushings from Pennstate. Thinking about picking up a couple cigar kits at Woodcraft while I'm there tomorrow.

Anybody know off hand if they're the same size?

Thank You!

Probably - I have used PSI Cigar Bushings with kits from another manufacturer and they were sized right. Still most of the experienced turners here say if you are going to be particular use caliphers and turn to the dimensions of the actual components. That's good advice because even suppliers with good quality control will have some tolerance in the size of the actual components and even a high quality bushing maker will have some tolerance in the size of the bushing. They might be small but at the prices we pay for them, they are more likely a little loose.

As I recall, the cigar kits seem to be pretty consistent across manufacturers, but there are at least two different sets of bushings. But, as Wayne says, you should check the chart.

Regards,
Eric

Yea, IIRC one of the 'off shoots' does use slightly different bushings
