FYI Wood Craft has a sale on their Nova Precision Midi Chuck, usual price is $119.00 sale price is $79.00. This is supposed to be a good chuck for the smaller lathes and all the regular accessories fit.

I have no affiliation with Wood Craft, just passing what looks to be a good deal on.

The new Supernova 2 is also on sale right now, got one last week and it is sweet!! They finally changed the key to a hex key like the Vicmark chucks. All my old accessories from my SuperNova chuck still fit.

the midi nova chuck though small is a good chuck comes in 3/4 x 16 and 1 x 8 handled quite a few of the jaws
i do work for woodcraft clem

I bought the Pennstate closeout. Now I have to fit it to the Grizzly pen lathe (3/4 x 10 arbor)

Does anyone know if the Oneway "Talon" jaws will fit on the Nova Precision Midi Chuck [?]

I'm just going to throw this in and say 'thanks' for the post about the chuck. I just put mine on hold at the Seattle store. Been looking around for some time...the price can't be beat!

Ron if you can't find a 3/4x10 arbor (insert) the people that make nova chucks have this insert i just recently obtained one for a person in out turners guild clem
