Default Choosing the Right Pen Blank

First, I am a newbie and I am hooked on making 7mm pens.
I have purchasing my pen blanks (wood) from the local woodworking store. I have been seeing pen blanks from sale while doing web searches.
Some same pre-drilled mini blanks 9/16 in x 9/16 in x2-1/32 in. would these blanks work?

With the wood blank you would want wood grain to line up, you may not get them with that, unless it is a "set".

Stick with standard length for a while. Hang out on this sight a lot and you will see all you can do. I like to see blanks before I buy them. But I have ordered many from our venders on this sight and have been very happy.
