Carba-Tech 4SE Package?

So I am narrowing down my choice of my first lathe. Thanks to you all I received the free DVD's from Penn State and it made my desire to turn even more. So can anyone share thoughts on the Carba-Tech 4SE? And the package deal from Penn State? Good lathe for a beginner? Variety of tools and such worthy of turning? Or can someone give me a shopping list to get started?

If I were starting all over with PSI. I would get the vs turncrafter pro. I have two a turncrafter pro (my first lathe) and a turncrafter plus which I got on a good sale price. If you turn anything bigger than a pen or reel seat you need the bigger 1/2 hp motor.

I would go for the Jet while it is on sale. It is not much more than the turncrafter right now and worth the extra $$ IMHO.
