I have been using a carbated mini lather for quite awhile now.
When I turn antler the lathe tends to walk quite abit. I have
been looking into getting a jet lathe. I was thinking they carry
a little heavier midi lathe but can't find it. What lathe would
you folks suggest. Thanks for any suggestions.

:D

About 10 cents worth of deck screws will solve your problem. Drive a screw through each foot into your bench. If you need to move the lathe it takes all of 30 seconds to remove the screws. I do this with my JET mini and it works just fine!!!

The Jet is fuel injected, runs much smoother than a carb...[:D][:p][}:)]

It also helps to get a can of Prop Wash and spray the carb.

Nah... I think Bryan is smart enough to make sure the deer was dead first... but don't know if he knew to take the antlers off the head first... [}:)][}:)]
