Candle Wax... Works great

Hello, I'm sure most of you know this but I was forced to use old candle wax melted in an old pot over a hot plate to seal some blanks as I was out of Anchorseal. It works great an dI will never use anything else on the ends of pen blanks, it gives you a really good seal on the end grain. I will still use Anchorseal on my bigger blanks for ease of brushing. Anyone have bad results with regular wax ??? Thanks, Victor

I have a crock pot where I melt wax for sealing pen blanks and I buy candles at yard sales for practically nothing. I also use Anchorseal for bigger blanks.
