I've tried a few without much success.
It's meant for table tops.
I have a couple of gallons.
The stuff is old and has turned yellow in the jugs.
I have 2 unopened gallon jugs one liquid and one hardner.
I am wondering about the color down the road.

Hi Eaglesc,
I tried something similar since I too already had it on hand. It sort of worked but was pretty soft and crumbled when I turned it. I was not happy with it either.

Storing KraftKote: Store all KraftKote in original containers, sealed tightly in a dark area to extend the shelf life. Store at a temperature between 70 degrees F-80 degrees F and a humidity level below 60%. Shelf life is one year. Also, it's an epoxy and WILL continue to yellow.

The only kind of resin I have cast is polyester resin (heretofore PR) although others have cast others resins. Lou posted about casting polyurathane of some kind . Check out http://artstuf.com/epoxy-polyester-resins.html...they have all kinds of resins, but I;'ve stayed with the Clear casting resin (polyester) they sell. visit their website, they explain the typed of resins very well. they have colors and powders. Their gallon is $28 and at Hoby Lobby a quart is $19.95 last I looked. I have a gallon that is almost a year old and it still seems to be viable.
Do a good turn daily!
