CA question

Is there anything that will dissolve CA. You know, like getting it off of something you don't want it on.

Acetone works as well as anything.

If the CA hasn't completely set up Acetone will work.

Really depends on what it's on that you don't want it on.

If you are trying to get a pen apart or a part off a pen , heat works for both CA and Epoxy . Not allot of heat though or you could damage the good parts . About 150 degrees will soften the glue bond enough to disassemble most glued parts . This works great if you get a tube stuck halfway into a blank . I use a soldering iron held in the center of the tube for a few mins and the tube can be pulled right out .

You guys are going to make me tell you what I did huh? Actually it was a CA partial fingerprint where it shouldn't be. I did try the acetone and it cleaned most of it off nicely.
